Erected by the 45th Infantry Regiment on the Asiatic shore.

Destroyed in the first years of the Turkish Republic. In 2000, a new, smaller monument was erected closer to the sea at Güzelyalı by the late Yüksel Ergen, the owner of the İris Hotel.
