This tablet was dedicated by the Armée d’Orient (AO) to their brothers-in-arms who died for France in 1915. This army was formed in September 1915 and fought on the Macedonian front. From this army in November 1918 was formed the Corps for the Occupation of Constantinople, units of which occupied the Gallipoli Peninsula.
